Fortune Telling

What is fortune-telling?

Fortune-telling is the fore telling of future events as though destiny owns
those events. A fortune teller would have you believe those events are set in
stone, and there is no alternative path. This is completely untrue by any
means and in any form of spirituality or religion. Common knowledge is that
human beings have free will. Since we have free will, it is impossible to say
anything pertaining to our future is ‘set in stone’. The choice is
always ours to make.

What is Divination?

Divination is to gain intuitive perspective and insight through psychic
means. It's an acknowledgement that one possible path of the future can be
seen but it is not the only path. Future events can be directed or altered by
us or God if allowed by us. By divining, we receive feedback, answers and
advice from God and our own intuition which may enable us to choose
present and future paths wisely. Therefore, divination is a strong tool
pertaining to present and future events. It is an equally strong tool
pertaining to past events. It gives us perception of past events that we may
be otherwise unclear on. Divination also allows us to see ourselves as we
really are and how others perceive us to be.

Be extremely leery of any psychic who tells you something will definitely
happen in the future and there's no way of preventing it. It may happen, but
it's not definite. Every path is subject to change. The past is history. The
present is formed. However, the future is up to you . . . not a psychic who is
telling you there is no other way. There are always
choices to be made.

In summary, if you're following the Bible, fortune-telling is prohibited.
